Match Play
Match Play Opportunities
FD Tennis is excited to offer match-play opportunities at 3 of our coaching venues for both juniors and adults. Playing the game is the culmination of the work our students do in their week-to-week lessons and is the next progression on their tennis journey so we highly encourage all of our players to transition into a competitive stream once they are ready.
These are the offerings at our venues:
- Box Hill TC – Juniors
- Box Hill TC – Adults
- Balwyn Park TC – Juniors
- Cranross TC – Adults
- Cranross TC – Juniors
Box Hill TC - Juniors
Eastern Region Tennis Club competition which is played on Saturday or Sunday Mornings. Your child will represent the club in a team-based format playing against other children of similar standards in a Home-&-Away format. There are two seasons per year – Summer (October – March) and Winter (April – September). There is no play on long weekends and school holidays and your child must be a member of the club to be selected for a team. To register your interest, please email Melinda info@fdtennis.com.au
Hot Shots Match Play is conducted during each school holiday period and is a Round Robin Tournament we run for Orange Ball and Green Ball Hot Shots Players who are ready to transition into competitive play or currently play in Hot Shots weekend competition. To register for one of these tournaments, please click the Book Now tab below and select Holiday Programs to complete the registration.
Box Hill TC - Adults
FAST4 In-House Doubles Competition is an adult competition that we run twice a year in between night tennis seasons. The competition is played on a Wednesday evening in Winter (June-July) and Summer (December-Jan). Players are placed into a team of four and they compete against a team on a Wednesday evening between 7-9:30pm. The cost is $10 per night and to register your interest, please email Mel info@fdtennis.com.au
