HOW DO I REGISTER FOR ONE OF YOUR PROGRAMS?
DO YOU OFFER A FREE TRIAL LESSON BEFORE COMMITTING TO A PROGRAM?
Yes, all new junior players are entitled to a no-obligation free trial for any of our Junior group sessions. We do not offer free trials for adult lessons only paid trial lessons.
Do you offer casual lessons or do you have to sign up for the term?
ARE THERE LESSONS ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?
No, we do not conduct lessons on public holidays and the missed class is reflected in your invoice as you are not charged for that date.
CAN I PAY MY FEES BY CREDIT CARD OR DIRECT DEBIT?
Yes, on all of our invoices there is a link that you can click on to take your through to our Credit Card Payment gateway. We also offer Direct Debit facilities and this can be accessed by filling out the Direct Debit form that we send out to all families at the beginning of each term.

IF THERE ARE 3 PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY TAKING GROUP LESSONS DO I RECEIVE A DISCOUNT ON MY COACHING FEES?
DO YOUR VENUES OFFER COMPETITION OPTIONS AND PATHWAYS FOR YOUR PLAYERS?
Yes, all four venues offer competition tennis in varying capacities whether it be through local region junior and adult weekend competitions, to Hot Shots match play for the juniors to In House FAST4 Doubles competitions for the Adults. There is something for everyone at all levels and standards.
IF I’M A MEMBER OF THE CLUB DO I RECEIVE A DISCOUNT ON MY COACHING FEES?
We do not offer discounts on coaching fees because you have a membership at that specific club.
CAN I USE THE COACHING VENUE TO PRACTISE EVEN THOUGH I’M NOT A MEMBER BUT I’M RECEIVING LESSONS THERE?
I HAVE BROKEN THE STRING ON MY RACQUET. DO YOU OFFER A RESTRINGING SERVICE?
We offer a restringing service available to anyone who requires their racquet to be restrung. Please refer to our restringing section of our website for further details: www.fdtennis.com.au/restringing.
DO YOU SELL JUNIOR OR ADULT RACQUETS?
We sell Junior and Adult Head racquets and one of our coaching teams can fit you out to determine which racquet suits your game style. We will confirm your correct grip size and ensure that your racquet is weighted appropriately and also has the correct balance.
DO YOU CONDUCT LESSONS ALL YEAR ROUND?
We offer lessons in line with the Victorian school term dates however we offer private lessons (at discounted rates) and holiday programs and other competitions during all of the school holidays.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
In the event of rain prior to the class which makes the courts unplayable, you will receive a text message from your coach cancelling the lesson. We will aim to give you at least 30 minutes notice of this cancellation but please note due to the unpredictability of Melbourne weather, this is not always possible.
If your lesson is cancelled, please contact Mel at admin@fdtennis.com.au to arrange a makeup lesson. All makeup lessons have to be completed in the current term and failure to do this will result in the loss of the makeup credit.
Please note that Our Holy Redeemer morning lessons and St Christopher’s lunchtime lessons will still go ahead int eh event of rain and the lessons will be conducted in the school hall.
DO YOU HAVE A HEAT OUT POLICY FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS?
In the event of the temperature reaching 36 degrees, you will receive a text message from your coach cancelling the lesson. We will aim to give you at least 30 minutes notice of this cancellation but please note due to the unpredictability of Melbourne weather, this is not always possible.
If your lesson is cancelled, please contact Mel at admin@fdtennis.com.au to arrange a makeup lesson. All makeup lessons have to be completed in the current term and failure to do this will result in the loss of the makeup credit.
DOES MY CHILD RECEIVE A RACQUET WHEN BEGINNING ONE OF YOUR PROGRAMS?
All children 12 and Under who join one of our Hot Shots Classes for the first time receive a new Head Racquet to begin with and these are fitted out by our coaching team.
WHAT IF MY CHILD WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND TWO GROUP CLASSES PER WEEK?
Yes we offer a 10% discount if your child is attending 2 or more Hot Shot lessons per week.
DO YOU OFFER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS?
Yes, we offer programs at all 4 of our venues during the school holiday periods. Program lengths vary depending on the venue and we ask you to look out for notifications halfway through each term. All Holiday Program enrolments are conducted through our online registration portal found on this website.
Do i receive a discount if i have multiple kids signed up in your program?
Yes, if you have 3 or more children signed up into our group classes, then you will receive a 10% discount. This discount only applies to group lessons and not private lessons.
Do you accept Get Active Kids vouchers?
DO YOU OFFER MORNING AND EVENING GROUP CLASSES FOR ADULTS?
We offer group classes for adults on mornings as well as evenings. Times and classes vary from venue to venue.
WHAT IF AN ADULT IN MY HOUSEHOLD WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND TWO GROUP CLASSES PER WEEK?
Unfortunately we don’t offer discounts for customers enrolled in multiple classes.
